Chola at the Chennai Marathon 2024!
Employees from Chola participated in the 12th edition of the Freshworks Chennai Marathon, powered by Chennai Runners, certified by AIMS (The Association of International Marathons and Distance Races).
This annual event took place on the 6th of January 2024 at Napier Bridge, Marina Beach, Chennai. Comprising of over 22,000 participants, this year’s Marathon witnessed runners and enthusiasts from various organizations and walks of life. Cholaites made sure they participated too.
It was rather fascinating to see many participants from Chola in the marathon. This year, there was a larger group of women employees from Chola who participated in the event.
This marathon is the second-largest marathon in the country and comprised of four events for men and women including, a full marathon (42.195 Km) - the flagship race of the event, the perfect 20 miler (32.186 Km), the half marathon (21.097 Km) and the 10 Km Run. Many Cholaites participated in the 10 km run as well as the half marathon event. Cholaites, as zealous as ever, were seen participating from various teams and branches.
